Kids, You Have Got To Love Them

posted on 1 February 2012

My husband works for a tank cleaning services company, and I often tell him I do more cleaning than he does! Being a mom to three children, I am constantly cleaning up messes, especially those caused by children. But my youngest, who is a couple months shy of being two years old makes the biggest, more nastiest messes ever! We are in the "potty training" mode, and last week I had her in her training panties, and bless her heart, she is so stubborn! I put her little potty chair in the middle of the living room, and I see her standing on the potty, peeing all over it. Noticed I said on it, not in it! Ok, so no big deal, it was just a little pee, I got a towel, got her panties off and let her run around naked, and it wasn't even 15 minutes later, I was in the laundry room changing out the laundry and she pooped, again on top of her pottynot inside it! Well, in the meantime, she gets her poop and starts playing in it, rubbing it on the computer desk, and stomping in it with her bare feet, then tracking the poop from the living room into the kitchen. Oh my gosh, talk about a mess, I had one! I bathed her, and then spend an hour scrubbing the carpet in our living room, mopping the floors in the kitchen, and scrubbing the furniture that had been touched by her. It was horrible!
